Originally we were natives of Bhinmal. Our mother was in Bhinmalma. When our elders left Bhinmal and settled in Radhanpur, Miyangam, Palej, Bhavnagar etc. and kept Mataji in Bhinmal.

One day Mataji came to a brother in a dream and said, You are leaving me alone, so our elders decided to bring Mataji to Radhanpur. And Aso Sud Dasham brought Radhanpur and established it on the street of Chintaman. 1) Why is Mataji’s Tithi Aso Sud Dasham?

Mataji has installed Aso Sud Dasham on Chintaman street in Radhanpur so Aso Sud Dasham is kept from her ti. (2) Mataji’s tithi is aso sud dasham. So what happens in Radhanpur on that day? On the day of Mataji’s Tithi, around 100 people come from Mumbai and beyond. Decorations are done on the street of Chintaman where our mother is.

In the morning, the sisters sing Prabhatia, then at midnight they go outside the Patni Darwaza to draw water in the Padam wadi. Then Pakshal and Puja are said. Then Pakshal and Puja are done. Sisters sing songs of Mataji with passion. After that, a meeting is held to discuss what to do every year.

(Then dinner is served in the wadi. At night the Bhavna is installed. In it two women groups from Radhanpur come and worship Mataji. After the Bhavna is over, the Aarti takes place, after which Prabhavana is given. Thus the whole day goes on in joy.

3) Aso Sud Dasham is from Mataji’s Ti, so what to do on Sud Dasham of every month? On the 10th day of every month, light a lamp in the house and give three khamasanas, then add srifal, then put three pieces on the plate and take the shape of Kunvashi and Kunvashi.

There the pieces on the giving plate are left to be given to the priest or to another relative, and everyone should use them. On the 10th of every month, the sisters are not surprised that we do not eat neem in our family.

4) Can Mataji be worshiped daily or not? If it can be done, how can it be done?

There were two opinions whether Mataji should be worshiped daily or not. So the chitthi was thrown and puja was done in the chatti. Mataji should be worshiped with right thumb on Mataji’s head.

5) Can sisters worship Mataji or not? In earlier times, sisters did not do it but now they do. 6) What are the miracles of Mataji?

Mataji’s miracles happen. A brother had a dream, Mataji said to him, ‘Are you sitting like this? Go to Rangoon!’ Then that brother went to Rangoon and earned a lot. Then the dream came back saying ‘you leave Rangoon’ so that brother left Rangoon and came to Mumbai and then evacuated Rangoon, there are many miracles like that.

7) What happened when you went to visit Mataji?

In order not to go empty-handed to visit Mataji, take one srifal, one quarter rupee or one quarter five rupees and penda according to strength.
